Giclee Printing

I began my life as a printer/compositor I did a four year apprenticeship in a commercial print and packaging company. While studying as a pre-press originator, This was during the period of change in old school techniques and training, I was fortunate enough to learn my skills in the old method of film and paper, page assembly, colour screen planning, paste-ups and camera ready artworks, four colour process and plate making. Before it all became computerised and digital. Combined with this wealth of knowledge I now produce my own Giclee prints,

I use only archival pigment inks - utilising the Canon image PROGRAF PRO-1000 A2 print technology, prints up to 18 inches high by 3ft long for those panoramic views. I use Archival grade papers 70 years. Hahnemühle, Marrutt Archival, & Canon papers.
